I guess things can only get better... sunny weather is forecasted for this Friday and who knows later during NTM 2009 runway 23 will be in use as photographing in the approach of runway 05 is not - at least for me - too good as the planes are rather high. Walking a little back to photograph with 500mm (full frame) isn't possible as there are electricity wires in the way :-(
Anyway here a few rather not too bad examples:

I've been there too and complained about the "nice" weather.
But I can only say one thing: Don't blame the messenger!!!
They don't create the weather, there are other "forces" responsible for that.
And... they are not forecasts but expectations, so nothing is sure...
BTW, Belgian weather expectations were also different from what we got...

Thats what a say you have a great job to be a weather man nothing is sure so you can make mistakes and no body blames you for that because its a expectation.
The forecast was bleu sky for the morning and grey and rainy for the afternoon. I dint see any bleu that day. Maybe its in my eyes but i dint see it. But thats life we have to deal with it.
