Short translation: Dutch aviation authorities are to emphasize the safety of the public during Dutch Airshows.
Dutch inspectors are generally satisfied with the way aviation events are organised in The Netherlands, but they want to point out that organisers have to comply with certain rules en regulations regarding aviation safety.

Last month an aerobatics pilot was fined 7,500 euros for flying too close to the crowdline.

I hope the "fun police" of the early 2000s at the IVW will not return. Back then it was hardly possible to stage a civilian-organised "proper airshow" in Holland... :evil:

Not quite what was stated in the article. It says there was a "dwangsom" which is something else than a "boete" (fine). A "dwangsom" is something you have to pay if you offend that rule again (and after that another time again till a total maximum, to be determined by court). If you are fined, you have to pay anyway, also if you never repeat this in the rest of your life.
