This afternoon Roma23 20-46073 came OTT NL on FL400 around 16:35/16:40h, heading west routing Enschede/Raalte/Dronten/Bovenkarsep/Schagen. It was contrailing, and visible from Amersfoort.

Any ideas on hex AE02BB?
Aircraft took of at Spang turned north over the IJsselmeer to the German bocht (doing circuits over (USS Ford?)) turned South again and is now doing circuits over Mendig at FL100.. Hexcode assumes MC130 but seems a bit strange to me...

Was a KC-135,then had a problem with the right MPRS wing pod. After two hours of circling the aircraft went to the Baumholder Range where the hose was dropped and the Stratotanker landed in Ramstein.

I'm at EHEH at the moment. The 2 C-2's took a very disapointing route over NL :(

The USS Ford is heading south, perhaps a stop on the way to Spain?
