This year, the JASDF is again organising this fighter Hikotai competition. Competing Hikotai are in the proces of applying special markings on the participating aircraft, for the moment only three aircraft per unit.

The F-4 section, 24 Sep. - 28 sep. at Hyakuri.
The F-15 section, 27 Sep. - 5 oct. at Hyakuri.
The F-2 section, 4 Oct. - 11 Oct. at Misawa.
