Is there any news on the temperary closure of the brussel museum?
It should be closed for 4 years for overhaul of the museum.
I want to know at what date the museum will close.....
The MiG21 is currently in storage at Vissenaken, as is the L29R (2808).
They were taken out of the collection to make place for the announced Sea King (RS01), but with the renovation plans, I don't think the Sea King will move to Brussels soon.
I have a correction on the list. According to the scramble-database the serial of the mentioned U1C doesn't belong to that one, marked as OO-SUD. Searching at Airliners I found out that the serial should be 144669, c/n 297. Can anyone confirm this serial is the correct one?
Markings on the Bu181B should be TP+CP (instead of Q)
Additions to the list:
- Spitfire Mk9 RAF BS435/FT (Hanging on the ceiling at the World War 2-hall)
- SV4B BAF V56 (standing behind the glass under the stairs in the Aviation-hall)

Just received an email from the museum.
The building with the aeroplanes will closed at the end of this year.
It's not known if the complete hal will be closed or just a part of it.
Grtz Rene
I don't think that a date for closure has already been specified. At the official website you can read the following:
["Definitieve plannen en afgewerkte projecten of precieze data zijn er echter nog niet. Het is nu nog niet duidelijk wanneer en in hoeverre de Hal zal moeten sluiten."]
