Thanks. The pictures were made in and near De Wijk (north-east of Meppel). There the storks can be found all over the place.
That is because people started a breeding program there in the seventies, called "De Lokkerij"
(http://www.delokkerij.nl/)

By coincidence all my posted pictures are made near De Lokkerij, but before that I made some in the neighbourhood.
It's just that these turned out better because the sun finally came out :)

@Heron,

I already thought so you made the pics @ De Wijk. My grandma lives overthere and I've been there once.
There are also some storks in the neighbourhood of Assen (Rhee, Oudemolen), maybe also near Westerbork or haven't you seen them there yet?

today i was in my chicken battery and saw that our Hennie has just given an underwaterchildbirth, and she is now a proud mother off a beauty egg
