Great!!! Thank you very much :)

Some remarks:

1) AE-029 The cockpit is in General Rodriguez

2) Did you visit the Museo de la Aviacion de Ejercito (not to be confused with the Museo Historico del Ejercito in Ciudadela!)?

3) Are you sure about 67-18909?
I don't have it on my list. I have 69-15098 (really AE-415, fake AE-400), 66-16350 (fake AE-419), 66-16277 at Escuela de Suboficiales, 68-15493, 68-16250

Excellent stuff, impressive list, thanks for sharing!

I think the OH-13s should be UH-12s though?

Yes it is 023 not 029

No we didn’t do Museo de la Aviacion de Ejercito

We have photo proof of 67-18909 being a OV-1, but I cannot seem to be able to show it here.

I hardly dare to ask, did you also manage to visit the Gendarmería Nacional at Campo de Mayo?
Here is hoping... ;-)

They received various OV-1 bits and pieces in 1992, 62-5878 was one of them (over stretched airframe wfu 1992, hulk in Florida in 1996). Could be more were involved, 18909 suffered a mishap in 1990 but was also reported active again in 1991.

In 2014, the Huey cabin was assumed to be AE-404 due to its (very faded) two-tone camo pattern. Its boom should be at Ciudadela.

best regards,
Erwin

Yes it was a great visit around the units based there. Originally it was just a few aircraft that had been put out for us to photograph. Once we spotted what was in the hangars, we ask our hosts who said yes even having goes on the UH-1 flight simulators & gunnery simulator. We headed towards the stored areas, photography every thing there. The only hangars we weren’t allowed to photograph in were the two maintenance hangars.
It was a great shame that we didn’t get into the GNA area.
