Engine Run hangar adjacent to Service centre
R-2109 Mirage IIIRS is preserved in here in excellent condition and has regular engine runs! This cannot normally be seen as the run pen is completely 'spotter proof' but some of the guys who look after this were in and invited us to take a look in the hangar.
Just seen dep here 14.45LT on ADSB:
IRL282 PC-12 IAC (282)
Is it possible to spot a/c in blue maintenance hangar in weekends? I am only interested in mil Pilatus, so guess only this hangar is an option. Wooden main hall is not possible when no lights on inside...
It is possible, but very very difficult. The aircraft near the doors can often be read off (while still light), bu th ones further in the back will form a problem.
Seen April 22 in service hangar:
Position 15 (most right) PC-9 IAC with s/c tail. No serial on tail; should be 260 which matches with picture on the net.
POS.14 PC-9M 665 Bulgarian AF
ca POS 10 (middle part) 1x red PC-21 swiss AF
Rest seems civil PC-12/24
Pres outside here were:
Mirage 3S J-2313 and PC-24 P01 prototype
On the south side between highway and the PC-24 hangar was a Black PC-7 Seen on pole.
PC-6 PK-VVW broken up far right side of the hangar
PC-9M IRL266 arriving for maintenance, towed into the far right side next to the PC-6
PC-12 to the left of the PC-9 head-on, non readable, behind the aircraft on a paper is written "M-SAXY", but unclear if that's for this specific aircraft or not
PC-12 HB-FIR c/n 2008 towed into service hangar far left side
PC-12 next to the HB-FIR unreadable, light grey color
PC-9 in the back, grey colors and emblem similar to the Omam's Air Force PC-9s, possible 431 as it was noted earlier this month.
PC-9/7 in primer, body only, no serial
PC-12 HB-FQH c/n 2326 performing compass rose turns
