Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Opa Locka & Fort Lauderdale-Executive 10-12-2023

On Sunday 10 December 2023, I also made two quick dashes to Opa Locka and Fort Lauderdale-Executive.

Photographing at Opa Locka is getting more and more challenging with new fences and barriers in place. Especially at some FBO's new barriers have been placed, preventing you from driving onto the premises and shoot from the fence.

Fort Lauderdale-Executive is a bit more relaxed but I was chased away by airport security when I tried to photograph a few stored bizjets from Venezuela.

Ah well, can't have it all and still got some nice catches:

First Opa Locka:

1. Parked really close to the fence, so was a bit tricky to photograph, this CRJ HI1058:

2. Still flying (almost) daily are the Convairs of IFL and Conquest Air:

3. Same goes for this Atlantic Air Cargo DC-3 N705GB, which was a bit boxed in by other aircraft:

4. This DHL Aero Expreso B737-400F HP-3110DAE has been present at Opa Locka for a while and is taped-up:

5. Opa Locka is also known for its many bizjets. Next to quite a few American ones, there are also often some nice foreign ones, like this Canadian EMB-550 C-FSRX:

6. My final shot from Opa Locka is this JSX ERJ145 N954JX. Opa Locka is a hub for JSX:

On to Fort Lauderdale-Executive!

1. This ERJ145 N286DP is operated as corporate shuttle by Intel:

...rather challenging fences -and security indeed, but you captured some nice "bizzer oldies" , apart from the Convairs and the Dak ! :)
