Volkel 24 August 2011; 311 and 312 squadron jubilee

Hi,

In 2011, both 311 squadron and 312 squadron celebrate their 60th birthday (despite the demise 311 of squadron).

Therefore, 24 August a reunion will take place at Volkel. The static display will only contain Dutch stuff.

Two F-16s will receive special markings on their tail: J-367 for 311 squadron and J-511 for 312 squadron

According to the SGV website (http://www.sgvolkel.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4488) both specially marked F-16s are bound to take-off at 09.00 lt for a foto flight.

(could be one of the few opportunities to picture them both in the air).

Base is not open to the public.

Static is only civil stuff, have a look at the website mentioned below.
