General
Waldron Naval Outlying Landing Field is now used for circuit training of aircraft from NAS Corpus Christi. It is located west of this field and is mostly used by the T-6 Texans. When runway 13 is in use, expect aircraft to break overhead for a lefthand pattern with righthand circuits thereafter. From this field, movements at Corpus Christi can be seen and be read.
Layout
This small field has a southerly and a southeasterly runway with a small apron in the southeast, next to the tower.
Getting There
Waldron Naval Outlying Landing Field is located west of NAS Corpus Christi. You can reach Waldron Field NOLF by taking the I-358 towards Padre island and leave to the right via Flour Bluff Drive towards spot 3 and 4, while taking Waldron Road towards spot 1 and 2.
