In the early 90s the HAF deceided to upgrade the Phantoms and with that also a new camo scheme (Aegean Ghost) was introduced like on F-4E AUP 01514 of the 339 Mira.

First of 27 Former German Air Force RF-4Es started to arrive for the 348 Mira in the spring of 1993 what resulted in the grounding of the squadrons RF-84Fs. These recce Phantoms kept there Luftwaffe Norm 83 camo scheme as can be seen her on 7506 (ex 35+59).
