US Army C-12s through Prestwick

On 7 November 2020, two US Army Beech C-12V Hurons, call signs SHOGN30 and SHOGN27, arrived at Prestwick (UK) on their way back to the Continental US (CONUS).

The two Hurons arrived at Prestwick from Wiesbaden AAF (Germany), where they had arrived on 6 November 2020 on a flight from Souda Bay (Greece). Most probably, the duo started their journey somewhere in the Middle East.

The C-12Vs, serials 94-00316 (construction number BW-5) and 94-00318 (c/n BW-7) were last reported with A Company 6/52nd Aviation Regiment (A-6/52nd AVN), which is based at NAS JRB Fort Worth JRB/Carswell Field (TX). Unfortunately, Scramble is not 100% sure if A-6/52nd AVN is indeed the current operator, as sometimes aircraft are deployed for a longer period and only the crews of different units are rotating.

The first aircraft to arrive at Prestwick, 94-00316 (call sign SHOGN30), was visible on ADS-B as serial 95-00099. So we would like to stress that one must always take great care when reporting sightings by ADS-B, confirmation is needed.
