Second Uruguayan Naval Aviation AB412 arrived
The second AgustaBell AB412 for the Aviación Naval Uruguaya (ANU, Uruguayan Naval Aviation) arrived in Montevideo harbour on 14 January 2021.
The former Italian Capitaneria machine, serial MM81511/9-09 (construction number 25722), is the second and last and will receive ANU serial 042.
The helicopter will be based at the sole naval air station, Capitán de Corbeta Carlos A. Curbelo airport, Laguna del Sauce in Punta del Este.
The Escuadrón de Helicópteros of the Grupo de Escuadrones (ESCAN), will be the unit operating them along their sole OH-58.
