Saudi Arabia RSAF KING AIR 4130 Braden Coleiro 640RSAF King Air ferried back

On 21 June 2021, Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Beech King Air 350i with serial 4103 (c/n FL-804) and call sign RSF1017 was ferried back to Saudi Arabia after upgrades at Toulouse/Blagnac (France).

It made a technical stop at Chania/Ioannis Daskalogiannis (Greece) before continuing its journey.

The King Air has been in Toulouse since June 2020 for upgrades related to its Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) equipment. Clearly visible are two new domes both on top and bottom, several antennae, larger dual strakes and what seems to be a new FLIR turret.

The aircraft is operated by 41 Squadron and is part of an order of four aircraft already delivered to Saudi Arabia in March 2014, but without the ISR equipment installed.

The ISR unit is most probably based at Al Kharj/Prince Sultan Air Base. Any update on where the unit is based is welcome.
