On 4 February 2022, The Angkatan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (RBAirF, Royal Brunei Air Force) formally retired all of their MBB Bolkow Bo105CB helicopters.

After serving the force for 41 years, a formal send off was held at Rimba Air Base. All Bo105s were operated by 12 Squadron Stingers, part of 1 Wing, Operations Group. The ceremony was attended by officers and personnel of RBAirF, most of whom has served with the Bolkow 105.

The six Bo105s were delivered to 2 Squadron in 1981. The Royal Brunei Air Force was formed on 1 October 1991 from the Air Wing of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Before the RBAirF took over in 1993, the fleet was fully administered and maintained by Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (REME), part of the British Army Air Corps Loan Service. According to the released information, 36 pilots have served on the Bo105, amassing a total of 32,000 flying hours.
