Next delivery of F-39E

On Saturday 2 April 2022, the next two Saab F-39E Gripen (JAS39NG) fighters for the Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB, Brazilian Air Force) were taken from a ship in Navegantes, Santa Catarina State.

The two aircraft, serials 4101 and 4102, were transported by road in the night from 2 to 3 April to the nearby airport and will be flown from there to Embraer's Gavião peixoto facility were they will be prepared for delivery to FAB. The transport itself was to be seen on a livestream.

The Gripens will be operated by the 1°GDA (1st Air defence Group) at Anápolis, Goiás State.
