"Just a nice Picture...!"

Recently, Mountain Home AFB (ID) based F-15E Strike Eagle 90-0234/MO, assigned to the 391st Fighter Squadron "Bold Tigers" took part in the exercise "Southern Beach".

Depicted is the Bold Tiger Strike Eagle while it takes off from Kadena Air Base (Japan) in support of this exercise. Southern Beach is a locally organised bilateral training exercise for USAF and Japan Air Self-Defense (JASDF) units to practice mission planning, flying and debriefing together.

Since last year, Continental United States (CONUS) based USAF units bring on a regular basis rotations to Kadena to keep up the number of 4th and 5th Generation fighter aircraft in the Indo-Pacific region. Scramble Magazine reported on this rotations on 30 March (Alaskan F-35As) and 12 April 2023 (Rocketeers relieved Warhawks).
