Fourth AT-802 crash in Türkiye this year
On 13 November 2025, AT-802A OR-2025 single-seat Fire Boss operated by the Ankara Orman Havacılık Şefliği (Ankara Forestry Aviation Directorate) crashed in Croatia, sadly killing the pilot.
According to our colleagues of Herdem Aviation, two Orman Genel Müdürlüğü (OGM) Havacılık (Turkish General Directorate of Forestry) Air Tractors were operating the Rijeka - Zagreb - Rijeka route. During the flight dense fog was encountered which forced them land. The other aircraft, OR-2024, landed safely on the island of Krk while OR-2025 crash-landed near Krivi Put on the Croatian mainland.
This crash was the fourth major mishap during this fire-season. The following Air Tractors have been involved in major accidents this in Türkiye year:

The two single-seat Fire Boss' were a total write-off. The dual-seat Fireboss LX-AFE made a ard landing on water near the Adana Seyhan Dam and might be repaired. The other dual-seat, OR-2021, made a hard landing on water near the Bucak Karacaören Dam, and might also be repaired.
