In late 2024, the Slovak Ministry of Defence announced plans to enhance air transport capacity and modernise its fleet, acquiring two Global 5000 long-range business jets.

The first aircraft, C-FDIL (c/n 9513), was flown to Bratislava–M. R. Štefánik Airport on 17 February, arriving in the early hours of the following day. It has not yet been seen in the air.

The second jet (c/n 9633) was initially at the Bombardier facility in Biggin Hill, UK. It was flown to Bratislava on 5 April 2025 as T7-AVA. This aircraft was first noted transmitting its new hex-code 505FA1 on 22 May.

Initial test flights began on 9 June, during which photographer Radim Koblížka captured the aircraft (serial 9633). It remains in a plain white livery with no Slovak Air Force markings as of yet. The only visible part is a unit badge next to the main left door, which can clearly be seen on the photo below of Global 5000 9513, which was photographed on 13 June.
