First H135s delivered to RTAF

In August 2021, the first three Kong Thap Akat Thai (RTAF, Royal Thai Air Force) Airbus H135M (model EC135T3H) military training helicopters were seen at Lop Buri/Koke Kathiem.

The H135s are operated by 202 Squadron, part of the 1st Air Division/2nd Wing. The unit once operated the Fairchild AU-23 Peacemaker. The radio callsign for the new training helicopters is believed to be Cora.

During the Singapore Air Show in february 2020, a contract valued at USD 44 million was signed between the RTAF and Airbus Helicopters for the acquisition of six H135 helicopters. The Thai designation for the new helicopter is Type 13.

The delivered H135Ms carry the codes 20201, 20202 and 20203. The RTAF serial is not known yet, nor is the tie-up with the known construction numbers, which are 2126, 2130 and 2140.
