Delivery of fourth MMF A330MRTT
On 1 April 2021, the fourth NATO Multinational MRTT Fleet (MMF) Airbus A330MRTT arrived at Eindhoven air base. The tanker/transporter, serial T-057 (construction number 1945) departed Madrid/Getafe (Spain) with call sign MMF70.
The Initial Operating Capabilty (IOC) for the MMF is planned to be reached in the third quarter of 2022, with the Full Operating Capability (FOC) to be reached in the summer of 2024.
The Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet programme will be equipped with nine aircraft. These will be based at Eindhoven air base in the Netherlands and in Cologne (Germany).
