On 25 March 2021, around 09:34 hrs LT, a Royal Navy Hawk T1A crashed during a training exercise near the Lizard Peninsula, roughly ten miles from RNAS Culdrose (United Kingdom).
Shortly before the accident, the pilot issued a 7700 squawk, indicating a general emergency. Both crew managed to eject to safety and were picked up with only minor injuries.
