Beech 350ER for Orman

On 22 April 2023, a Beech 350ER Super King Air for the Orman Genel Müdürlüğü Havacılık (Turkish General Directorate of Forestry) was delivered to Ankara/Esenboğa.

The aircraft, serial OR-1839 (c/n FL-1286), was in full markings and also carried its temporary US registration N1286K. The Super King Air started its delivery flight at Newton City-County Airport (KS) on 19 April 2023 and flew via stops at Bangor International (ME), Goose Bay (Nfld, Canada), Keflavik (Iceland) and Zurich (Switzerland) to Ankara/Esenboğa (Türkiye) where it arrived on 22 April.

Thanks to Arda Mevlutoglu (Twitter @orko_8) Scramble Magazine is informed that the Super King Air is part of a contract that also includes twenty Air Tractor AT-802 fire-fighting aircraft.
