Another NAF ATR42 arrived at Mönchengladbach

On 25 January 2021, Nigerian Air Force (NAF) ATR42-500MP, serial NAF931 (construction number 800), arrived for maintenance by Rheinland Air Service (RAS) at Mönchengladbach (Germany).

The Nigerian aircraft is assigned to the 107th Air Maritime Group based at Benin (Nigeria). The unit operates two ATR42s in the Maritime Patrol configuration.

NAF931 is painted in a grey colourscheme, with high-visibility colours on the tail, the nose and the underside of the aircraft. The other ATR42, serial NAF930, is painted in a two tone sand camouflage scheme. This aircraft arrived for overhaul by Rheinland Air Service (RAS) in September 2019. It returned to Nigeria in July 2020.
