Additional Hermes UAS for FAB

The Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB, Brazilian Air Force) has signed a contract to obtain two Hermes 900 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) on 30 December 2021.

Dubbed RQ-900 in local service, they will join the single ship, serial 7810, already operated by 1°/12°GAv (1st squadron, 12th air group) Hórus at Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul.

The additional Hermes' will be delivered through Porto Alegre based Aeroeletronica (AEL) Sistemas, the local Elbit subsidiary.
