USS Kearsage lands in Aqaba.
USS Kearsage (LHD-3) with 26th MEU lands at Aquba harbour (Red Sea) for participation in Eager Lion 2013 with 1800 marines (5th June 2013), including MV-22B Ospreys (VMM-266) and CH-53E/AH-1W/UH-1N/AV-8B/MH-60S.
(Started deployment 11th March 2013).
Some sources claims that Kearsage have 20 MV-22B. But normally have the ship around 12 MV-22B, as I believe it has.
Eager Lion starts sunday the 9th June 2013.
Several sources mention it. Among them

All sources mention the marine force to deploy on Jordan-Syrian border. I only state they part the yearly exercise Eagle Lion 2013.
Remember the Kearsage and Ashland were onshooted in Aquba some years ago. The rockets missed.
Were is the MEUs other ships? They maybee offload on and one because of the earlier onshooting!
In Aquba were also the destroyer USS Cole badly hitted by a bomb a couple of years ago.
USS Kearsage lands in Jordan.

A ship that lands??? Wouldn't 'moors' be more appropriate?

The USS Cole wasn't bombed in Aqaba, the suicide bombing on the USS Cole took place in Yemen.
