@nustyR, great set!
Looks like you did break some speedlimits to get to the 'illegal' spot in time.
That thing on top of the tail, is that for testing only or a feature on all 787's?

I went to Schiphol for the time since March to try out my new D7000 and new Sigma 50-500. Here some first results.
I am pretty pleased with the camera, but when taking shots of sunny aircraft against a black clouds, a big thick black border appears around the aircraft. Any suggestions on how to solve that?

I'm wondering wheter that are LUCKY people, or pilots? (also very lucky people... But you know what I mean)nustyR wrote:11 It's easier to see the passengers through the bigger windows.
I sat in a Mock-up of the 787 at KPAE (Paine Field. Seattle, Washington) And the big windows are SO comfortable! Not having to break your neck anymore to view out of the window..
But Great shots man.. In those light conditions! I like the comparisment with the ERJ-190, wich is often reffered as a 787 lookalike... (Thank goodness the 787 looks better ).
Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Great shots everyone! Now I have seen you guys' picture I wont post mine! Great job everyone!
But why did the 78 carry passengers? Are those Boeing people? (Potential) customers? Well, lucky people anyway!

Marco, is the black border also appearing on the pics straight out of the camera, or only after editing..?
The pics look quite heavily edited (or compressed..).. look at the tail of the KLM 737 BBJ.. Also the engine on the EZY looks weird..

Are you sure it's there before editing? Because It looks like you have been playing with the shadows and highlights in photoshop, when you reduce the highlights, there appears a border.. I can't think of a cause how this is formed before editing.Marco wrote:when taking shots of sunny aircraft against a black clouds, a big thick black border appears around the aircraft. The Boeing crew (spare) and maintenance staff (license issue) need to be onboard.Martijn. wrote: But why did the 78 carry passengers? Are those Boeing people? (Potential) customers? Well, lucky people anyway!

the black border comes straight from the camera, no editing no nothing. I have more pics with the black borders. It are all pics with a sunny plane, and a black cloud.
