Tulln (LOXT) 2024 MIL

Post by Nato Tiger »

Unfortunately, a base visit turned out to be an orientation day for students.
The "Schuletag" took place in the maintenance hangar with the accompanying platform.
After some members of the group of Dutch spotters steadfastly maintained that there was a real need to photograph the flight movements on the main platform, there was finally a short opportunity to photograph some flight movements overthere.

The log of the "Schuletag" on May 23rd, I noted only the active military aircraft.

Platform maintenance hangar:

3C-OI OH-58B MzHSSt
3G-EE PC-6/B2-H2 lLuTSta
3H-FJ PC-7 LAbt FläFlz
5M-IE AW-169B Lehrabteilung Hubschraube
6M-BA S-70A-42 mTHSSta

Maintenance hangar:

3C-OB OH-58B MzHSSt
3G-ED PC-6/B2-H2 lLuTSta
6M-BH S-70A-42 mTHSSta
6M-BI S-70A-42 mTHSSta

Main platform:

3G-EF PC-6/B2-H2 lLuTSta

Flying:

3C-OH OH-58B MzHSSt
3C-OJ OH-58B MzHSSt
3C-OK OH-58B MzHSSt
3C-OL OH-58B MzHSSt
5M-IB AW-169B Lehrabteilung Hubschraube
3G-EK PC-6/B2-H2 lLuTSta
3G-EH PC-6/B2-H2 lLuTSta

I have not checked my photos yet, but I remember the Kiowa on the static as being 3C-OI, not OL. It was on static all day, whereas OL was flying.

Also, you mention Blackhawk BH twice. I think the one in the hangar was a different one but again, I have to check photos.

The OH-58 in the static was 3C-OI.
The S-70 in the static was 6M-BA.

One additional helicopter was inside the hangar near the active ramp, it contained OH-58B 3C-OE.

I looked at my photos again, the OH-58 was a wrong reading and the Blackhawk was a cut and paste mistake. I've updated my log.
I personally have not seen the other additions that have been given.
Thanks for the additions
