EPPI - 40th anniversary Su-22M3 3620

Post by gdebiscop »

On June 11th, the Pilskie Museum Wojskowe (PMW - Pila Military Museum) organised an event to comemmerate the 40th anniversary of their Sukhoi Su-22M3 with tactical number 3620.

During this event, several small aircraft visited the airfield as a small fly-in was held.

Due to the fact that 6 PLMB was stationed at Pila airfield, and the Sukhoi is still wearing its original 6 PLMB markings, a friendship with 6 ELT came to light.
To highlight this friendship, the Polish F-16 Tiger Demo Team performed a small show during the event.

The following aircrafts could be seen during the event, either on the ground, or in the sky (all pictures taken by me):

- Sukhoi Su-22M3 "3620", c/n 23620, owned by the PMW

- PZL-Mielec TS-11F Iskra "1706", c/n 3H-1706, also owned by the PMW - and yes, this is the real 1706, and the only F-version in the world
