This regional airport, nicely situated on top of a hill, hosted their 
annual air show, which turned out to be an interesting event. A large 
contingent of USN and USMC aircraft and excellent light conditions made 
it well worth a visit. The static was located on the secondary runway 
and spectators could watch the show from the west/southwest side of the 
main runway. On Friday, gates opened at 05.00PM, allowing pictures of 
some late arrivals with beautiful late afternoon light. The actual air 
demo started at 07.00PM and featured the USAF and USN East Coast Demo 
Teams, as well as the US Jet Team flying three Fouga Magisters. Around 
sunset, the US Army Special Forces Black Daggers and the Golden Knights 
made their jumps into the night. Various demonstrations of light aircraft, 
as well as fireworks and night jumps followed, concluding the air show 
10.00PM. On Saturday the airfield was open from 10.00 AM till 04.00PM, 
with the aerial demonstrations taking place after noon.
