Although not part of the open day, these aircraft could be seen during the day, the A340 arrived around noon and left after aproximately 1.5 hours. The C-130 came in around 16:00.

The static show itself was a long walk from the gates, making sure you got to see every building, but if you were just there for the planes it was quite far. Luckily there were enough food and drink stands. The static was set up nicely, but the large aircraft were impossible to photograph. The only flying display was a flypast of the A400M. Parking was at a shopping centre nearby, with shuttle busses driving you to the base.
