FIDAE 2016

29 March - 4 April 2016

This day we again went for a whole day to the airport. The Notams of the airport said that there might be delays on the
airport due to FIDAE and this gave hope to see more FIDAE flying action. After 10 am movements started on the military
side and after a display of an F-5, more displays started and this took four hours. After the displays both runways of the
airport were open again and this was the moment for some more visitors to arrive for FIDAE. There were many rumours
about aircraft that were expected but most of them were still not coming. After the Raptors arrived, we went back to the
apartments. We packed our bags for the next day because this would be our last night here.

After a short moment near the runway where we heard the aircraft landing, but with the thick fog it was impossible to
see anything. With the sun getting stronger, the sky cleared up and just at that moment it was time to go to the press
conference of FIDAE. After this conference we were able to walk around the aircraft that were on static display and
found our place near the runway for the first demonstration of the Raptor. It was time to leave this wonderful country
and take our 13 hour flight with the Air France Boeing 777 back to Paris.
