The more popular items on the website are the various databases we have made available. We have over a hundred databases, with over half a million records available. In the early days of the website, we focused on expanding the military databases. However, over the years, more and more civil aircraft data has been added.


Civil Aircraft Database

Numerous databases on Western-built civil aircraft types in the categories jetliners, commuters, bizjets and bizprops (down to single-engine turboprops like the Piper Malibu Meridian). The full airframe history is available for subscribers.




Military Aircraft Database

The Scramble databases are known to contain a vast amount of information about different aircraft of air forces in Europe, the United States of America and Canada, but we also have compiled data on Air Forces in South America, Africa, and Asia. If you have seen a certain aircraft of which you want to know more about, or if you have seen an aircraft code but you could not read the serial, you have found the right spot!

Currently we have well over hundred countries in the databases,whith more to be published.


Dutch Aircraft Database

Looking for information about Dutch aircraft? Then check out this database! It contains a lot of information about Dutch civil aircraft, both current and historic.





Location Database

In the Location Database you can find the standard ICAO or IATA airfield locators like KNIP, RJTA, NFL, AMS, etc. There are various search options available to you.





Soviet Transports Database

The world's most comprehensive source of airframe data for transport aircraft originating in the Soviet era. However, also new aircraft types like the Sukhoi Super Jet and MA60 are covered. Presented to you by the "ST" team and Scramble.

Dustpan & Brush is the name of our very popular aircraft accidents and incidents section in Scramble magazine. Here you can find an up to date database with the latest mishaps.

Show Reports

If you visited an air show some time ago, and still have "unknowns" in your log, then this is the right place to be. Scramble has gathered more than 800 reports of air shows all over the world and we are happy to share them with you on our website.
