Planes at KidZania [CIV]

KidZania is a Mexican organisation developing childrens amusement parks in (mostly) shopping malls around the world. Within these parks, children can play while also learning all kinds of professions, including pilot and flight attendant. As far as I have been able to find out, all locations have a plane, or part of a plane within the park. Most are displayed in either a KidZania colour scheme, or the scheme of the sponsor, like the Meridiana A319 in London is in BA colours and the B737 in Singapore is in Qatar AW colours.

Some of the planes are known now, but still more are unidentified. I am trying to find out more and am always looking for info. Please let me know if you have any info about any of the so far unknown frames.

As an example the DC-9/MD-8x nose in Lisbon (Amadora). Quite a bit of the fuselage is still attached, though no wings as far as I could tell.

Note that in some locations the planes can be seen from the outside, but in some others you will actually have to enter the park in order to see it. That's against an entrance fee and.... you need to be accompanied by a kid ;-)

Found one, the B737 in Istanbul is the XA-UKW. You can see it clearly on this video around the 0.36 mark (nosewheel door).

And another one. The B737 in Cairo is a former Magnicharters ariframe. In this video you can see the mostly faded colour scheme, showing the titles as 'Magni' only (no charters either behind or below) and only one diagonal stripe on the fuselage, not multiple. Add to that the date the video was posted (June 2012), makes only one frame possible: XA-MAF.

Two more are known: the DC-8 in Sao Paulo and the B727 (not a B737 as I previously listed it) in Osaka/Koshien.

Great list Erwin

Do you have details of how much of an aircraft is remaining at each site please? The DC9 N942ML in Santa Fe especially caught my eye as its one I never saw in service.... That would warrant a specific trip to be arranged if it was anything more than a cockpit....

The former Lufthansa B737s were both identified by pictures from before these were installed. Both still had the name on the fuselage.
The A2-FMX was identified by South African spotters.
A picture of the B737 at Chicago shows it with an MSN painted on the nose: 2492x. The last digit is not visible, it may be 1, 2 or 6. I would be very happy if someone can say which it is (picture here).

With respect to how much of each frame is still there. In most cases it is the cockpit plus a part of the fuselage. How much is not always easy to see, unless pictures of the plane before installing are available. I know the ones at Doha, Guadalajara, Johannesburg, Chicago and Singapore are complete or almost complete. The rest is part of the plane only. In Santa Fe it is not a full plane, but more than the cockpit. A picture is here.

Any additional info as always is very much appreciated!

That would make it a B737-5K5 ex D-AHLD/HA-LER/D-AHLD/LV-BNM, last operated by Aerolineas Argentinas until 2012.

I think it is a B737, but anybody for a possible identity?
Kidzmondo was in the middle of the big explosion last year and was severly damaged, but apparantly planning to reopen.
