ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Toulouse-Francazal & Blagnac 08-08-2020

Post by LifelinerOne »

As Toulouse was only another hour away and sort of on the way back (well, not really ), I decided to head out there and see what I could see there.

First stop was Francazal Airport. Unfortunately the main barrier was closed and I could not gain entrance, but the road to the control tower was still open, which made the following (some heat-haze ruined) pictures possible.

1. This all-white ATR-72-600 F-WWEY was originally destined for Cubana, but that deal is off:

2. Brand new ATR-42-600 c/n 1416 should get F-WWLQ as a test-registration and is destined for a Colombian airline:

3. Also present are two former Far Eastern Air Transport ATR-72s, like this 2-HOPY:

4. Crappy shot of this former Jet Airways ATR-72, now registered M-IBAN:

5. And my second Ernest A320 of the day, this OE-IES:

A frustrating visit as much more is present there.

Then it was on to Blagnac. As it was a Saturday nothing was happening, so I limited this visit only to the Aeroscopia Museum. I visited it back in 2017, but since then they have added a new apron outsice with the following planes:

1. The ATR-72-600 prototype, F-WWEY:

2. The 2nd A380-prototype, F-WXXL:

3. The 1st A320, F-WWAI:

4. The 1st A340-600 prototype, F-WWCA:

5. And the very first ATR-42, F-WEGA:

6. As a bonus I was able to capture this A350-900 F-WZGS, which is destined for Ethiopian. It is parked at the large production hangar near the museum across the road of the parking lot:

That's it for this very, very hot day! (44 C). Hope you enjoyed them.

Cheers!
