Madrid-Getafe (LEGT) 2018 MIL

Post by Starman »

Yesterday evening 07Mar no less than six A-330s were outside, being shuffled around so Beluga A330 "05" could taxi out. These were:
MRTT 033 EC333 Fully painted RSiAF (c/n (all "reported") 1667)
MRTT 034 EC332 2nd RSiAF (1762) all the rest en primeur
MRTT 041 EC330 1st Adel'A (1735)
MRTT 050 EC331 1st RKoAF (1787)
MRTT 053 EC334 2nd RKoAF (1848) - the next two for Korea reported as "inside"
(MRTT 056) EC340 1st NATO - (1830) this one not confirmed.

Visiting around dusk was Citation TR20-03/403.21

Three B707s are being, well, maltreated I suppose, the 4th is at Torrejon. One is supposed to be allocated to the CV museum.

Once again 6 outside last Sunday lunchtime as follows, right to left from Sector 3 Station (50 mins from Barajas, Euro 5.20 return, bargain!)

"G4" reported as EC-037 MRTT 036 Singapore 4 - can anyone confirm? Primer
760 Singapore 1 fully painted (see my previous report above)
Korea 18-001 (see above) also fully painted
Singapore 2 specially marked for 50 glorious years (to become 761)
"G3" presumably Singa 3, primer
Far left side by the temporary hangar another primer a/c with no refueling boom. Suggestions (apart from "buy Austrian optics")?

Earlier the second Adel'A a/c was seen with "F2" on the tail - "F1" had recently gone to Manching for painting.

A very quick look from the Sector 3 station 18Oct revealed just 5 MRTTs (there may have been more, we were in a hurry):
2 x Singapores fully painted (should be 760 & 762)
One fully painted Korean
F2 & M1 en-primeur where M is presumably for Netherlands or Nato.
