NAS Oceana was supposed to fly into NAS Fort Worth today but bad weather in North Texas made them fly into NAS Pensacola.

Beaufort same story but they landed at Meridian, MS first. Than the base comander rescinded the evacuation orders so not sure if are going home.

Shaw is suposed to go to Eglin starting Wednesday.

Seymour Johnson is out and about but not sure where yet. Most likely Barksdale

Langley F22’s and T38’s went up to Ohio.

Thats it as far as I know for Hurricane Florence.

A tropical depresion is also in the Gulf of Mexico going to beat down in South Texas in the coming days. So word on the street is that NAS Corpus Christi and NAS Kingsville are evacuating as well.

Cheers,

Tally.

Backy went to Barksdale so I imagine the Strike Eagles went there as well.

VFC-12 went into NAS Fort Worth although all other operations at NAS Oceana seemed to be normal.

Norfolk C-2s (VRC-40 'RAWHDxx') appear to have gone to Pensacola (from ADS-B).

AMBUSHxx was up NAS Fort Worth Saturday 15 Sep. LOCKOUT11 (flight of five--VFC-12 temp c/s?) departed Sunday.

Looks like VMFA(AW)-224 stayed here, as BENGAL41 & 43 flights departed Monday.

And VMR Det Beaufort UC-12M 163836 FOX836 departed for KNBC (Beaufort) as well on Monday.

162899 and 163148 are the winners that get to spent the rest of their service life in the desert. They came through NAS Fort Worth as Ambush 11 and 12.

Nothing scheduled at NAS Fort Worth as far as I know. Alliance AP, also used in trainer evacs, has its annual airshow this weekend so don't expect anything there.
