101st Avn AH-64D Crash

Do not have many details as of yet,101st Avn has confirmed the crash of an AH-64D tonight while on a training mission just off the base Fort Campbell,no word on injuries or any other information at this time,2 were on board.

Hi Pilotman6012,

Has the type involved actually been mentioned as an AH-64D? Both 1-101AVN and 3-101AVN are equipped with AH-64E Guardians nowadays.

I was told AH-64D but could have been AH-64E,confirmed now that both crew members were killed in late evening crash.
