Still more than a year to go... But this conference will bring us a lot of VIP flights.. 36 worldleaders incl US president Obama are expected..
So Airforce One will be present... and many more..

Noticed i picked the wrong event.. It is the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague.

The Netherlands will be hosting the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague on 24 and 25 March 2014. :D


In 234 days the Nuclear Security Summit will take place.
Fifty-three countries, four international organisations, 58 world leaders, thousands of delegates and journalists. In every respect the Nuclear Security Summit 2014 (NSS) is a world summit, aimed at preventing nuclear terrorism around the globe.


The Runway 36C / 18C will be closed during the summit, they will use this runway for parking the many aircraft they expect !

This looks to be very promising. Participating countries in 2012 are listed here.

The list of participants of the last Nucular Summit (2012) is listed below and had mostly presidents and prime ministers.

So this does not seem to become a disappointing summit (plane wise) as seen in recent years in Holland.

MVK Valkenburg will be used as helicopter base in that period. Expect apache and chinook, maybe us presidential helicopters as well

Goedemorgen,

jammer maar het zou de meest logische keuze zijn als je even op GoogleMaps kijkt.
Korte aanrijroute vanaf 36R, 06 en 18C. Dus praktisch elke landingsmogelijkheid qua windrichting (behalve westerstorm) gedekt zonder het normale verkeer in de weg te zitten.

Wat is de reden dat deze kisten op een landingsbaan geparkeerd zullen worden? Is er geen ruimte beschikbaar op Schiphol om 36 kisten kwijt te kunnen?

Nog wat informatie gevonden via het Twitter account van NSS 2014:
-Er worden 53 landen verwacht + aantal organisaties als de VN
-Er worden 40 regeringsvliegtuigen en bizjets verwacht
-President Obama is zeker
-President van Gabon is zeker
-President Lithouwen is uitgenodigd door Marc Rutte
