It's still early, but if this is the way you think about it already? It is better you decide to stay at home and watch some (aircraft) pictures at the internet.

Really, you all did a fantastic job! One of the best. I'dd sign for such a wonderfull event again! I'dd book my B&B right away and drive the 500 km without hesitating!

Just a positive note, maybe this wil help to get everybody motivated!

sorry... had to react to the complaint(s)

c'mon guys (and girls ofcourse ;)) JB5 and all other people of the organisation are working their asses off to provide a nice event here! And if you're so spoiled and unhappy with it, don't even bother to react to their work! It's their work and i'm sure they try the best they can to please everyone!

I mean, there are thousands of people who are enjoying the "Open days" and if you don't like it, too bad for ya. Don't forget, the main reason for the open days is to show what where paying for (taxes) and to interest people in working with the Air Force.

In other words, keep up the good work there guys at the organisation!

Cheers Brian

Thanks Guinness, and for you information the office where we are working is called BAD (Bureau Air Displays). I'll bring you a pint when it works, we will see.

Ah bah, why couldn't the Polish just again send something Russian-made?
Yet another F-16....

Lemmeguess, "we are a professional Air Force and we want to show that we are MODERN".
The same reason was given to RIAT until 2003 when at last the Swiss agreed to send two Mirage IIIs... Before that it was "only F-18s and Patrouile Suisse"...

The Frecce are nice though... :)

I think that lots of people are happy that a polish viper comes to Holland and in 2006 we had a polish Fulcrum already

just my 2 cents

I, and I guess I am not alone at that, never have seen a Polish F-16 before, let alone the type of F-16 they are flying. Therefore I think it makes a nice addition to the list of participants.

High on my wish list are some aircraft from Southern Europe. An A-7 from Greece would be nice, but a T-2 would really make my day.
Other suggestions: Spanish SF-5, WTD61s orange Tornado and/or F-4, perhaps some Aircraft from QinetiQ (Alpha Jet would be nice).
Also nice would be the Sea Vixen from Red Bull.

Anyway will see what comes our way at Leeuwarden.

The occasions where you will be able to see Russian hardware will become rather scarce in the near future. This year will probably see the end of Hungarian Mig-29s!
More and more Polish Su-22s are now also being taken out of service, hence less chance in future to see them outside Poland in future.

These brand new Polish F-16s? They will be around for a further 30 years or so...

Unless the crew of G-CVIX have found a new beneficiary (sponsor contract with Red Bull ended in april 2007!) there is not much chance of seeing this De Havilland in the air this year, let alone in Holland.

Oh darn, no Red Arrows this year it seems, on the 21st they're in the USA.

But seeing the line up so far, IT's GREAT!!!

Now for the Russian Knight or a solo display of the Su-27 :D

Anybody have any info on demoteams that might come to Leeuwarden?
