Haven't posted for a while. Not sure if anyone reads or is interested in this airfield. Anyway, lots of Federal Police Super Puma's but hard to read them from different angles. Expected more unusual helicopters due to recent floodings but they seem to be using other fields like Nörvenich and Bad Neuenahr.

You are 100% correct but they often park the Super Pumas (and EC-155s) with front or back pointing towards my viewpoint (Flugzeugwerft, Richthofenstrasse) with little or no chance of reading off the last letter (in contrast to the EC-120s/EC-135s)

Hi Anton, as mentioned via another channell as well: I think you paint a rather good picture for all of us, of what is going on in the Cologne area and how to get it. So thanks for that.

Several unusual helicopters were in town for a conference in Cologne called 'European Rotors; The VTOL show and safety conference" that is held in Hall 8 of the Köln Messe (16-18 November). Several more (including Bell C-FNFO and D-HHLJ AW169) are already there but was happy with several new frames. There is a rumor that they will return to Hangelar on Friday 19/11...
