According to the official website, the open Day at Avord is not only Saturday 30 September, but also Sunday 1 October.
Prior registration is required (free).
Spotters days on Friday and Monday are sold out.

Not much visible from the roads north of the airbase either, just lots of trees and bushes, so not worth the effort.
Only an anonymus A109 and 2 derelict Thunderstreaks... weren't these dressed up as Mirage long time ago?

someone got the serials from de F-16's in the big hangar near the german A.400? I could read through the windows the following on Friday, not sure if I missed any: LB-061 F-16 BAF FA-82 F-16 BAF FA-109 F-16 BAF FA-124 F-16 BAF A military guy said the hangar will be open for the public in the weeken...

After a spectaculair short take off and vertical departure, ADSB showed the first pair flying east with an ASCOT c/s.
On Sunday 18-8 the RAF spot on the apron (hangar west) remained empty.

ADS-B shows on 15-6-2023 around 08:00LT 3x EC135 departing Lubeck with 5 min intervals heading in southern direction, prbably going home (?).
