Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

Norwegian AM-11 first flight on January 30th, 2017. Local serial is 5205 so Norwegian numbers will be 15-5205 till 15-5210. Since there is a one number gap between the last USAF and the first Norwegian, this most probably means the single Italian F-35A for LRIP X is hereby (also most probably - educ...

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

According to our sources 903 became 904 (AS-03). AS-04 always was 905 and AS-05 is 907. So AS-06 is (up untill now) 908.

So they were both delivered being that 905 isn't reserialled to 907?

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

169411/VK-12 (should be BF-56 ) was seen 6 april. Presumable yes. Since we also know that CF-32 is 169424 chances are most probably that the BuNo sequence for LRIP IX is: USMC BF-56/BF-61 169411/169416 RAF BK-09/BK-14 ZM143/ZM148 169417/169422 Italy BL-01 169423 USN CF-32/CF-33 169424/169425 Greets,

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

AF-106 is with the 34th FS. More news on FY numbers: Italians are 14-5108/14-5109. Israeli are 14-5112/14-5113 and Japanese 14-5114/14-5117. As you all noted the last of that batch isn't 69-8704 but 79-8704 as it is delivered to them in 2017 apparantly. Only one remaining LRIP VIII jet to be produce...

Re: F-35 Lightning II developments

Indeed international orders also have FY numbers. We know the Norwegian jets are 14-5110 and 14-5111. This leaves 14-5108/14-5109 and 14-5112 till 14-5117 open for Japan, Israel and Italy. If anyone get a confirmation on those serials, that would be great. Presumably (but that's pure guessing) the I...
