Re: Again Japan with 4A! Final Update.

Beautiful pictures, some of them look unreal! Could you tell us a little about your settings and equipment, for example for the chinook in picture 37 and the F4 in picture 32? Unbelievable shots really, what are we doing here in Europe?! Concerning settings and equipment: it's easy just to look int...

Re: Ammo flights to Gilze-Rijen october 1973...

Thanks Gerrit! Fantastic pics. Thanks also for the serials: some additions to my list! Really appreciate it. I know I may be pushing my luck now, but there are not that many people that were taking pictures at Gilze-Rijen in the early seventies... So feel free to ignore this request if you wish, bu...

Re: Ammo flights to Gilze-Rijen october 1973...

Very interesting pics indeed! These flights continued throughout October 1973. I know of flights on 2, 3, 4 and 22, 23 October. They seem to have coincided with Israeli ammo flights, possibly in connection with the Yom Kippur war. Still a lot of things are unclear about these events. El Al 707's vi...

Spanish Air Force Ammo flights at Gilze-Rijen october 1973

A very interesting month at EHGR I can say. The Span AF carried out several flights for ammo transport with the C54 and Casa207 Azor. Parked on the far south side of runway 02/20, they not very clear in sight for general people outside the base. Landing on rwy 10 was not the best for shooting outsid...

Re: Vragen uit de oude doos!

Hallo allemaal!

Re: defensie wil zulu-alerthangar Soesterberg/CNA slopen

Re: Decoy F-84F at Soesterberg

Photo's of the F84F's P-116-140-152-155 can be seen on the fabulous site: http://home.tiscali.nl/sberg.sixties/SBAug73.htm. Some Streaks were noted at the scrapyard USAF-side of the base P-265 (315) on 10-5-1966 and P-162 seen there on 4-5-1966+7-9-1965. It's not known whether these acted as decoy a...
