Went to Twenthe today to see the T33 and take some pictures of it. Lucky for me there was a nice man, who let me go on base to take a picture from another angle which you see below. Hope you like it!

The parachutists were indeed the backseaters of the pitts specials.
About the hunters canopy: The pilot slowed the aircraft down to a very low speed and when he came by, his canopy was open. I didn't see hem close it, but the next pass it sure was closes.
