TS-11 "711" is actually 727. The real 711 is airworthy in California as NX7110K.

Re: F-35 Lightning II JSF developments

It was more logic that 168846 ( CF-15 ) will become NJ-108 when looking at the codes only, but logic is not always logic...:-) Melchior, Not really. Remember that most USN squadrons do not use modex with the digits 8 and 9. This enables aircraft to use squawks including their modex, particularly us...

Re: AeroExpo Marrakech 23-26 April 2014

Good news for those that planned this year's visit around staying until Monday in the hope that the RMAF would repeat their previous activity patterns. All 16 T-6s that were not present during the show returned from Ben Guerir today, with 15 arriving in just over an hour between 0955-1005. and the l...

Ukraine only has two active An-30s, which are 80 yellow and 81 yellow.
The other four are stored and have not flown for at least 6 years.

Re: [CIV][MIL] Oregon tour 20-04-2014

Whoops, I had two of the AMARG codes transposed, thanks for pointing that out.

149653 12 Douglas A-4E [3A740]
(151050) 14 Douglas A-4E [3A741]
152012 Douglas A-4E [3A646]

I'm pretty sure that 149653 was 12 at AMARG though. Perhaps they have made some composites.

Re: [CIV][MIL] Oregon tour 20-04-2014

A big surprise were 3 Skyhawks..... A4E 149652/14 That for sure is a fake serial, as the real 149652 was shot down over Vietnam. Erwin Or a misread serial :) They are all ex AMARG, and arrived in 2007: 149653 12 Douglas A-4E [3A740] Sep07 Apr14 (151050) 14 Douglas A-4E [3A646] Sep07 Apr14 152012 Do...

Re: Tech problems claimed life of Jordanian F-5E pilot 17apr

I'm not being pedantic, but is this loss confirmed as an F-5E, and not an F-5F?
I know that it is more likely to be an E, but.....
