Re: RAF C130K at Brize Norton 02/12/2011

I have noticed that all C-130 lean a little to the left. I'm not sure why but i think the torque of the engine could have something to do with it.

Re: Axalp 2011

Very nice! Wel done, the hornet popping flares is my favorite. I thought Axalp was completely cancelled this time, but it seems there was some activity? Normally the Show is on Wednesday and Thursday, but there are practice runs on Monday and Tuesday. I don't know if there was any activity on monda...

Very nice pics.

Looks like the name of the exercise isn't called Hawgsmoke for nothing.
The little puff's of smoke of the f-18 and f-5 on axalp are no comparison..

I just love these shots. Especially 22 with the backseater that takes the trouble to look in the camera, and also love the light on number 16

visiting the loop is just one of the things that are still on my to do list, matbe next year or so.

Re: Axalp & Meiringen, October 2010

Nice pictures. Especially the one with flares and the high speed pass with the planes shadow on the mach cloud.

The blue lake on the background is what i also had planned for this year, only on the wednesday there was a lot of overcast over complete switserland at 1500 meters.
