Toulouse-Francazal & Blagnac 08-08-2020

As Toulouse was only another hour away and sort of on the way back (well, not really ), I decided to head out there and see what I could see there. First stop was Francazal Airport. Unfortunately the main barrier was closed and I could not gain entrance, but the road to the control tower wa...

Tarbes-Lourdes 08-08-2020

Hej again! as I was spending my vacation in the neighbourhood of Tarbes-Lourdes (well, 2.5 hours drive away), I decided to give it a go and see what we could photograph there. The airport is one of the main operating fields for Tarmac Aerosave, which is a company specialized in storing, maintaining ...

Chateauroux 28-07-2020

Hej everybody! On our way to our vacation address in France, we stopped overnight at Chateauroux. Time to see what I could photograph. The field was quite full with parked aircraft. Almost the complete British Airways A380-fleet are on the premises, although they do fly back and from Heathrow for ma...

Amsterdam-Schiphol 21-07-2020 (CIV/MIL)

Hej! Due to an appointment in the neighbourhood I had the possibility and time to do some spotting. First time at the fence of an airport since February... Nothing really special, but there were some nice surprises. 1. Global Express D-AAHB awaiting its passengers. https://live.staticflickr.com/6553...

Hi,

No problems with security at the spotting locations, except for the roof of the cargo building. As soon as I tried to get out of my car to take a picture a security car was there to chase me away.

Hope this helps!

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International 23-02-2020

Last stop of the day was Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International. I spotted here from the official viewing area at SW 39th St, off the W Perimeter Road. From here you can see all planes landing and departing on runway 10L, the Northern runway. Officially the viewing area was closed due to constructi...

Opa Locka 23-02-2020

Then it was off to Opa Locka, a few miles North of Miami-International. As it was Sunday, it was not busy with people at the airport, so I was not bothered when driving around and stopping at the fences for some photos. 1. Opa Locka has a small storage area when entering the airport. The first plane...

Miami-International 23-02-2020

The next day, Sunday, I started at the spotting spot called "the holes" at 25th St. From this location you can monitor all action on runways 08L/R and 12. Runway 12 is rarely used for take-offs, mainly for landings. The northern side of the airport is also where UPS and FedEx have their facilities. ...
