Hi all That Pan Am 707 looks like Schiphol to me so thanks for adding. While looking through my collection for IL76's I also found a new bunch of 707's to add here. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee182/civilspotter/B707ST-GLDGoldenStar.jpg http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee182/civilspotter/B7...

Ze komen uit Parijs en daar is geen bijzondere kist. Waarschijnlijk komen ze met een gehuurde franse bizz jet.

IL76's in the low countries (oldies)

Hi All It looks like we have somewhat exhausted the B707 topic. Lets kick off another, we already mentioned a number of types but the IL76 is one of my favourites. I have named the topic in the low countries, that would include Ostend in my opinion so post your replies with pictures Belgium! To get ...

EHAM 20-2-2008

I't wasn't till 3 o'clock in the afternoon that the low clouds lifted from Schiphol. After that we got some sunshine on the taxiway from the polderbaan. The only thing somewhat special passing by was this OE-LVG. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee182/civilspotter/Arrowsalliance.jpg A small but se...

Unless you are a marathon runner I would forget about the walking part. The polderbaan is always (doesn't matter where you are coming from) a minimum 4km distance away. cheapest way would indeed be to rent a bike otherwise you need a car for the polderbaan. There are plenty of maps aroud to show you...

Thanks for the kind replies. Joost, I had some catching up to do after a number of years in a very busy job and an extending family, so I put the job on hold and have a lot of spare time at the moment. Will have to start working again before to long though. But to show what can be done in a short to...

FT Lauderdale spotting (30 photo's )

I made a week long spotting trip to Miami and Ft Lauderdale from Jan 16th to 23rd. The weather was changable but we had one good sunny Friday at Ft Lauderdale. FT Lauderdale has a good mix of US and Canadian airliners with Soutwest, Jet Blue, AirTran and Spirit being the most frequent visitors. I am...

Miami spotting (Photo heavy)

Hi all, in the week from January 16th till 23rd I made a visit to the airports of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. My last visit to Miami was in 1999 so it had been a while. It must be said that Miami has become a lot less interesting then it was. Not only are a lot of the more exotic airlines gone, also ...

EHAM 9 Jan 08 (Harvard circling tower)

It must have been somebodies party today. Harvard PH-TBR circled the Polderbaan tower twice this afternoon. The piston engine and constant speed propellor made for a good sound while she made the tight turn. As I wasn't expecting this show the photo is a bit distant. http://i228.photobucket.com/albu...

Tha harvard flew along the taxiway to the polderbaan and rounded the Polderbaan tower twice. Nice piston engine sound while turning. I'll post a photo in the photo forum.
